 Thrift Store

Check out our new FaceBook group page: Laura Mae's New to You Thrift Store

Our Thrift Store is now open from 9:00am-5:00pm, Monday - Friday of each week, for your shopping convenience!! We are closed on holidays to allow our employees and volunteers a day off to celebrate the day. We appreciate everyone's support and patronage. You make everything that we do possible!

We encourage social distancing, the wearing of face masks (which we will supply to you while shopping), and we have a hand sanitizer for your use and we clean the carts often, all in an effort to provide a safe and healthy shopping experience.

We accept donations of gently used household items Monday - Friday, 9:00am-4:00pm. Please take your donations to the rear of the building, to door # 2 where you can enter and drop off your donation. Please do not drop off donations outside on any day. They are no good to anybody if they are wet or dirty.

We are grateful for each donation of usable clothing and household items that we can sell at inexpensive costs.

The proceeds all go to help support our food pantry.

Our Thrift Store is at the core of all we do. It is a support mechanism for the Food Pantry and is also just as important. It allows us to provide basic necessities such as clothing. By providing clothing and household items when someone loses everything, it restores a measure of dignity. We are truly blessed by the continual support and trust of the citizens of Audrain County and beyond who donate their used clothing and household goods to us with the faith in us that we will use the proceeds from the sale of these items to serve our fellow citizens. We intake, sort, and display all our donated items in a professional manner and offer them at very low prices so that everyone can have the dignity of being able to provide clothing and other items for their families.

None of this would be possible without our fantastic volunteers!!

Their gifts of time, talent, and compassion make it all possible.

Want to join our team? We have opportunities for everyone. Please go to the volunteering tab on this website for more information.
